The West Collection

The West collection is born from a convergence of historical perspectives: the textile heritage of Native American peoples, the fabrics that accompanied the settlers on their journey to new frontiers, and the Hispanic influences that took root in the territory for centuries. This complex cultural landscape, during the Gold Rush years, gave rise to intense coexistence and a blend of traditions, techniques, and aesthetics.

From the Indigenous peoples, the collection draws on the symbolic power of their motifs and the graphic interpretation of their compositions. From the settlers, it incorporates the stripes of women's dresses, utilitarian fabrics, and the understated colors of workwear. From the Hispanic tradition, it incorporates geometry, decorative rhythms, and the presence of fabrics that traveled from Europe to be reinterpreted in the West.

West does not replicate these languages; it reinterprets them from a contemporary perspective, acknowledging the cultural diversity that defined that era and transforming it into a current, balanced, and respectful textile narrative.
